| For over
60 years, Evert's Sales has been
offering quality used cars and trucks
to our customers. Since 1938, when Evert
Aho first opened the doors for business,
our first priority has been to deliver
value and service to each of our
customers. By offering welding, body
work and general repair along with car
sales, Evert's stayed busy for more than
a decade at the original location in
South Range, Michigan.
In the
early 1950's, Evert moved the business
to Hancock (into what is now Gartner's
Furniture) where it continued to expand.
Evert's made it's final move to the
present location on Dakota Street in
1957.
In 1974,
after nearly 40 years in the business,
Evert passed control of Evert's Sales to
his son and current owner, James Aho.
James continued selling quality used
cars and trucks along with doing body
work - the same core businesses that
helped his father turn Evert's Sales
into a successful company.
In the
early 90's, Evert's began to expand into
additional product lines and exciting
services like snowmobile rentals. We
started selling and renting Arctic Cat
snowmobiles in 1991 and, that same year,
we became a Kawasaki Jetski dealer. The
Kawasaki line would prove so successful
that, in 1994, we became a full-line
dealer. Now our Kawasaki offerings
include Jetskis, motorcycles, ATVs and
recreational vehicles. 2002 was
an exciting year of growth for Evert's,
adding Ski-Doo snowmobiles to our rental
fleet and scooters to our showroom
floor.
Starting
in 1938 with Evert and continuing over
the 25 years since James took over,
Evert's Sales has prospered by putting
our customers first. We've grown to
offer more products and services and
will always strive to give you a great
